Biddeford Recreation shows off teen center

Above, Eric Hovasse, 13, left, and Nathan Whitesel, 14, play a card game called Fluxx while David Applin, a volunteer at the center, watches. Hovasse is the teen center council president, which provides input as to some of the events that teens and children at the center would like to have. Throughout winter hot chocolate is served at the center on Monday afternoons. A program under the umbrella of Biddeford Parks and Recreation, staff are also considering keeping the center open until 8 p.m. Friday nights, but are waiting to see how popular it will be.
